We won’t be able to tell the difference between AI generated writing and human writing. But AI will. I think it would be cool to have a blog that is verified by AI to not be AI.

Conceptualizing AI as a giant hash table doesn't make sense in our universe. Even for a moderately good AI, you wouldn't be able to compress it enough to be searchable in a reasonable time, even if you could move at the speed of light.

I don't think AGI is a real thing. What we think AGI is really "Monkey intelligence". And creating machines that think like monkeys will be surprisingly hard. It's like trying to create a machine that flies like a hummingbird. It's easier to build a jet than a hummingbird.

My New Years resolution, which I’ve already started, and based on the advice of “Four thousand weeks”, is not to shy away from difficult tasks and to be patient and to take the time it takes to do it properly.

I never realized how practical the concept of space-time is. Time and space are the same. Like, you can use a telescope to see far away, but also long ago.

Figma design is starting to come together, it looks so much better already.

I'm going to take the time to learn Figma, or some other design software. Because starting with CSS/HTML is not working.

Nobody I knew used aprons growing up. I got one, and it's a force multiplier in the kitchen. I love aprons. It was my best purchase this year.

I'm so happy people are posting things! The goal of this site was for it to become my blogging platform. I honestly didn't think other people would sign up. As soon as I get big-post working, I'll share the goals of this site and how I plan on using it personally.
